It seems tht Forest are doing a Championship version of Man City except at a much smaller scale! Three new players signed today so I decided to check odds out and PP are offering 13/2 for them to get promoted which I think is a very nice price.

Again along the Man City lines they've signed 2 new strikers with Dexter Blacksrock still to be confirmed, but it looks as good as done. They have a choice of strikers in Dele Adebola,Robert Earnshaw,Nathon Tyson,Joe Garner,David McGoldrick and pending Blackstock. Its a strike force any Championship team would be envious of.

Anyways along with another posters topic(Pompey to get relegated) I checked out the double and its roughly 40/1 with PP.Ill be having some of that, what do you's think of this?

The Championship is highly volatile and always dangerous to bet on im my opinion. I work with a Forest season ticket holder, and he says he is fairly optimistic about next season, but I don't think he would back them to go up either.

Pompey to get relegated might not be a bad shout unless they get the ownership thing sorted out, but there will be a good few teams battling relegation next season such as the 3 promoted teams of course, and the likes of Hull, with a Steve Bruce less Wigan also in the mix I think.

Just can't see Forest being promoted this season as there are some a lot of teams better than forest.
I think Forest will do amazing if they were to finish in the top 8!

    Forest fan here!

Delighted with all the signings and hoepfully a good season ahead. A top 6 finish would be great but may take the year for all the new signings to gel.

That's the Championship sorted... now all I need to do it choose my League 1 & 2 teams :D

We may have a great strikeforce at Forest, but we've got no defence. Bennett, Wilson and Lynch all out injured. Also Billy Davies, in his wisdom, has decided to send our promising Kerry-born left back Brendan Moloney on loan across the Trent to Erikssons revolution at County. Just when we need all the defenders we can get. If we dont get some defenders in either permanently or on loan, we'll finish no higher than mid table. Great win over Boro tonight though so lets hope that will kickstart our season.
