How to connect my unlocked iphone to internet?

    Well finally after a long wait to get the new iphone it is mine.
    Got it unlocked straight away and got stuck in.
    I have everything sorted now except for this,

    :- for example when i try to use some of the features on the phone like weather, a message appears saying "could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service"

    Very annoyin that after waiting this long i cant actualy get to use all the phones features.

    Any help is much appreciated....

    I might be asking the obvious here, but do you actually have a data plan with whichever operator you're using?

    im with vodafone on pay as you go.
    I thought i could use the features and pay for what i use.
    Maybe i misunderstood badly

    You'll need to add a data add-on onto your account.

    You will also need to configure the iphone with Vodafone's data settings (APN name, etc).

    Can you not use the pay as you go internet at 99c a day?:confused:
