Very few agancies go to Rhodes for some reason. When we went we actually got to Rhodes by island hopping. We stayed in Kos a few days then went to Rhodes. Fab city, beach is gorgeous and the old city is amazing to see.

If you cant get there with a travel company, try getting cheap flights to one of the other islands or Athens and then get the ferries around. Not some peoples idea of a relaxing holiday but it is a good way of seeing a few places. All the islands are so different too.

How about a cheap package to Bodrum(Turkey), just across the water from Kos(an hour, on the ferry), and from there, on to Rhodes. If you get a cheap 2 week package, you could spend the middle 6/7 days on your trip to Rhodes.

Thanks for all your help guys!
Yes, i think its a worthwhile idea to go to Turkey and travel from there.
In reply to FunkyDa's comment, is there any places that offer the 2 week package holiday and then spending the 6/7 days in Rhodes?? It seems really interesting!! Thanks again..
