JSA with college course lined up?

    Have just finished a temporary job that I had for 6weeks. Previous to that I was claiming Job Seekers Allowance for about 10weeks. I will be starting a postgrad course in October but won't have any income between now and then (unless I get a job obviously!).

    Just wondering if the fact that I have the course lined up will have any impact on me being able to get Job Seekers Allowance again?

    Also, my family circumstances have changed since I was last on the dole and was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it usually takes to have my means test reassessed?

    I think since you were only in the job 6 weeks they may just reopen your claim.

    Maybe, anyway.

    Just head down and find out, in any case - I don't know how starting a new course in October affects things.
