Went to HRTA yesterday for first time in 2 years and took the barrett, had great time, good numbers, good people, no cheating, definitely wont take 2 years to get me back again.

Got excited when I saw those lovely cheap clones of the M99
going about the place only do be disappointed that
they did not bring out any M82 variants.

Great Pic. want one (cant afford one)
Thats the Big Bad ass Magazine that you need and want to see on a Barrett.

A Barrett and an SVD I reckon would round off my collection of gear nicely.
(Not that I'd stop collecting, it just would look more complete with them in it)

Its electric, modified version 3 gearbox, precision hop up, 6.01mm inner barrel (650mm long) semi auto, 320fps, (separate higher fps gearbox for UK)
Just short of 5ft long. Is 9kgs fully loaded. (almost 1.5 stone)
Will be at HRTA at the Rules of Engagement milsim event on Wednesday 29th of july if you want to check it out.

Not really a practical airsofting AEG it's limited by its weight an bulk, but its long barrel, which is considerably longer than most airsoft sniper rifles, almost twice the lenght of the maruzen/well L96 makes it as accurate as any legal airsoft sniper rifle and semi auto firing system allows for a quick follow up shot or 3 if needed. It is more than capable of hitting targets but thats not why i built it in, a sea of M4's, multi cam, gucci gear and teams made up of all generals and no privates, it's nice to have something different. That is of course until the Chinese make a version for $200. That M99 gave me a scare!!! but I'm sure a M82 is not far away!

Paul just wanted me to post this on his behalf.

There is a special game on tomorrow night dedicated to a very special player who was one of THE original airsofters in the country and a long time player in HRTA.

Nigel is heading back to Cyprus this week and unfortunately airsoft is not playable there. So Paul is throwing a special re-union game tomorrow for Nigel and all are welcome.

Games start from 7pm till 9pm. There is no playing fee for the nights gaming, as its a happy send off for a dedicated player who was one of the first to dawn the fields of airsoft in the country. This game is open for ANYONE to attend

Bear in mind that both those lads are bigger than average. The photo I really want to see is Richie's young fella with the Barrett. :)
