    Hi all,

Boards AC Graded Meeting no. 8 5th Aug Irishtown

Your leader Woddle would like to get as many BAC runners out for the last of the graded meets. There is a 1500m and a 3000m race on the night.

    Note
To run you must be a paid up member of BAC and be registered with the AAI. If unsure if your registered please contact Peckham/Woddle prior to the race

Ill definitely run one of them. Not sure which but Im leaning towards the 1500m.

Is my BAC 1500m "club record" still standing from the last graded meet I was around for? Get out there and beat that time someone...

If it's the 4'58 well then it's still safe. What time did you do Running bing?
I did 5'15 in my 1500 so I hope that gives people an idea of the standard. We can all sign up for the D race and will most def not embarass ourselves. It's the last one and I think it would be nice for the club to represent themselves and have a laugh and also to set a benchmark for next year, I've done 3 track races so far and I loved them and will def be gearing my training towards them for next year.

Yeah would be great to see a few more blue singlets at the gradeds.

Have'nt run a 1500 yet but my mile pb is 5'16 so would hope to be near enough to 5 minutes.

Hope to be there to do the 1500m (haven't done one since '97), as it's AAI I'll be in my Bray colours - an easy target for all the BACs :D

I did see somewhere that the 1mile BHAA race was cancelled, let me rack my brains.

Shame that. You dont know if they will be rescheduling it? BHAA could do with a few more track races imo.

It just says cancelled rather than postponed and nothing on the BHAA site.
