Might be useful to anyone who's heading to Galway in a week's time.

It was an offer mailed to members of the Galway Races Facebook group a week or so back.

Didn't pay too much attention at the time but have since seen it mentioned on RTE's racing coverage and it got a mention today in Johnny Ward's piece in the Sunday Independent ("superb guide to the festival" apparently).

€7.19 as opposed to €8.99 at full price. Can't go too wrong at that price I suppose. The cost of a wee punt. Ordered mine there earlier.

[EDIT] Just searched for it there on Google. The same offer is available off the Tote website. There's a bit of a spiel about the book there too[/EDIT]

    Nice one OP.

I bought it there, lets just hope it will save me more than 20% in the long run!

There's actually a thread from the author of the guide in the Horse Racing section.

As is pointed out there, there was a mention of it in Johnny Ward's piece in the Sunday Independent.

Finally, anyone planning to take in the extreme endurance test that is the Galway races would be well-advised to take a look at Tony Keenan and PJ Walsh's superb guide to the festival, which starts on Monday week. This is a must for people serious about making money in Ballybrit and the book can be cheaply bought at irishracingtrends.com

There are extracts from the guide on the site too if anyone's interested.
