Since the primary objective of this forum is to exchange training tips drool over top end gear, I thought I'd highlight my latest object of bike lust, the new Pinarello Dogma.

Loads of colours, but I think I like this best:

But I'm also strangely drawn to this colour, which is called "Petrol":

And they also have "Champagne", which I'm not sure what to think of:

    I want one bad.

Wow. I really want that first one.........

I think the Petrol one looks nicer in the flesh. I'd definitely go for black bartape on this one though.

it does look damn well in the flesh, something about the less common colour scheme too is appealing. I'd just have to get both :p

I'm gonna make myself unpopular now and say I don't like it. I'm more of a straight lines, sharp corners kinda guy.

"Petrol" and "Champagne" say everything. Avoid.

    Lovely frames.

I really hate the decals they put on wheels, it makes them look awful!

Maybe they should've named one Cocaine and the other Biofuel ?

    God I love Pinarello's.

When I'm fat and old and can finally afford one, I'm all over it.

Also, I preferred the Dogma when it was made of Magnesium (for the MacGyver aspect, mostly). The name made sense then.

This should be called the Pinarello Pragma.

really not convinced by the wiggly forks myself ( maybe i'm just old fashioned - and you cant beat hetchins for wigglyness)

The old Dogma frame also meant that you could light your bike on fire in a spectacular Jimi Hendrixesque victory celebration.

There's too much going on on ... Paint job, wiggly forks ... just a bit too much

  • Moderators, Politics Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 24,269 Mod ✭✭✭✭Chips Lovell

I suppose the more muted paintjobs might work better then. You can also get custom paintjobs, like with the Prince, but I don't think they have that up online yet.

I hate the forks, so can't love the bike.... the wavyness is just too much!

    Yup, they're too wobbly looking.

Wobblyness puts me off but I do like the 'petrol' colour.

    'Champagne' reminds me of this:

An all time classic kit. Tried to buy it earlier this year, but got no joy.
