    Hi everyone.
In 2008 i worked 6 months at IBM in Dublin, in my 6 months working there i did not claim back my emergency tax money.. :( After i came back home i simply forgot about claiming the money (stupid )..
I can't seem to get any help from the revenue office what so ever..

I do now live in Denmark don't know if that has anything to say?

Anyway I hope that you guys could help me on my way to claiming back my emergency tax money..

    ALL HELP IS MUCH APRECIATTED!

    Kind Regards
    Nick Moller

If you finished up in 2008, you can apply for P21, which is a balancing statement for that year - that should show if you have overpaid tax. The fact that you are no longer resident might complicate things. Call your own Danish tax office, and find out if there are agreements in place between the two countries as well.

Before calling the tax office next time, write down all the salient details:

What date did you move to Ireland.
What date did you commence work in Ireland.
What date did you finish work in Ireland.
When did you move to Denmark.
    What was your PPS number.
    Where did you work.
Did you work and pay tax anywhere else during 2008, if so where, how much etc.

You can request balancing statements for somewhere between 3-5 years iirc, so 2007 should be OK.
