Hey xD Yeah, it's soooo much better than Junior Cert! On Tuesdays for community care I got to help out in a playschool; it's exhausting but it's so much fun!

On Wednesday we have activities; I do horse riding, other groups are doing yoga, swimming etc, I was getting really frustrated with the horse I have to go on until today when he actually trotted for me!:)

I went to Kilaloe a few weeks ago now, it was scary going up on the climbing frame thing but we had so much fun that day xD

Anyone else go on any trips yet?

We went and stayed over in Carlingford at the very start of the year. Great Craic! :D Also, some of the year is going Skiing in Norway at February. I'm part of that as well. Can't wait.:D

I think it totally depends on the school and your attitude towards it .

Personally, i love it, but most of my friends think it's a waste of time.

    Not for everyone I guess.

What kinda stuff do you get up to?

Awhh no! Well i can understand why you dont like it then.
Do you not go on trips or do different subjects?

I don't really understand why schools who opt to have TY even bother if they're not going to do much! Maybe they're low on funds or something? Should get a group to talk to your TY co-ordinator about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 570 ✭✭✭CianDon

Unfortunately my school is very short of funds. We're doing nothing or going nowhere. No mini companies, no foreign exchange, no emersion project

Suppose all you can do is hold fundraisers so! Do schools still charge huge fees for doing TY?
