Anyone have any news about the event? I hear there was some controversy going on during the International, but cannot get any info!

Controversy? Other than the English resetting one of the traps I didn't hear any controversy. Mind you, some of them did need to be set as they were throwing incredibly flat targets.

Trap 1 broke down Friday Morning when the ladies had five targets shot.
one of the traps started throwing perfectly straight targets when we were shooting aswell. Veterans started getting slow pulls at one trap but the referee saw nothing wrong with them, and when i say slow i mean 1-2 seconds. Other than that we cant complain, we just werent good enough on the day:)

Did you get to shoot Trap A at the top of the field?
It was great crack. The left hander had to be shot before it got through the gap in the hedge. You could have done with someone behind the hedge ambushing any missed targets - and there were a few.

Oh, and the banquet left a lot to be desired!!!

Ya i shot trap A on Friday morning, i didnt really take any notice of the hedge though. There was plenty of lost targets on my part anyways:rolleyes:.
The banquet food was rotten:eek:. Person beside me found mould on his breadroll

Funny, it was the only trap I managed to score a 25/75 on :)
The rest of the squad couldn't get to grips with them at all.

I heard the Welsh tried to poison you all at the banquet in order to stop you complaining about the targets;)

Ahh, so that was their gameplan........

Poison everyone so a Welshman could win the British Open the next day.....it worked!:)
