Habitual Mass attendance

Something that I have noticed ( In my opinion) since I was young - the amount of people who go to Mass out of habit and really don't think about it too deeply after the 30 mins or so spent in church. Does this attitude dilute the whole experience for everyone? How do other people feel about these people? Really interested to hear honest answers :)

You get habitual attenders in every faith and denomination - But how would anyone know who is an habitual attender and who is a committed follower? - and who is to say that the habitual attender is not committed?

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make?
