    Hey,

Just wondering about selling on Ebay and the buy and sell, Do you think there worth the time and money to generate a sale and maybe make some money?

Would you be happy to buy from a company listed in the buy and sell, to me buy and sell kinda reminds me of the markets you see on a sat and Sunday morning along the road, things seem good value but is the company behind it genuine, that make senses

It depends on the product. I'd test on eBay if it's a generic product that isn't targetting premium (high end) customers.

I'd avoid buy and sell if you're a business as it gives off the impression that you're not legitimate and you're also positioning yourself in a market full of travellers, stolen items and illegitimate "man with a van" type ads.

But most importantly, it depends on who you're targetting and whether or not your businesses target market use the above methods.

Yes, I don't see any problem with selling on Ebay- your reputation is as good as your customer feedback. Sounds fair to me.

nothing wrong with it at all. couple of clever ebay millionaires in teh uk that just buy stock in bulk and then sell it bit by bit. from the likes of dell and that (even though they say they don't have resellers...)

One problem I'd envision with Ebay is getting your rating up initially as people are loathe to buy of seller with low rep.

I'm assuming you are already in business in which case no harm in throwing up a couple of items to test the water as such.

What kind of items are you selling, electronics, clothes, toys...?

I remember hearing a story in college from eBay Ireland; they came in and gave a lecture to us and that one of their most recent multi-millionaires was a guy in a council estate in Liverpool who sells bubble wrap.

You don't ever hear about eBay multi millionaires who sell clothes from Turkey or China.

It depends on your market and what you are selling.
