I think it's a great deal when you think about it
A monthly return Galway Dublin is 48 euros if booked online you could get it for 20 euros some saving

I'm checking now for Dublin-Tralee, but €20 is the cheapest I'm seeing.

presumably these €10 fares are bookable online, aren't they?

I'm booking a mon-sat. the route I want is listed as being included.
    am i missing something?

and if I'm just being plain thick, do feel free to point this out.

€10 each way, so €20 is correct if your booking a return ticket

There are certain exclusion dates and the €10 isn't available on every train.

These are the only trains you can use.

yeah but its coming up as €20 for a one-way when I click "check price".

I see on the promotional page linked above that beside the dublin to tralee special fare, there's a 1 in brackets, and further down it says this means not including fridays. Also Oct26th (bank hol) is not included either.

Are you clicking on the wrong train - its only available on the 1100 ex-Dublin Mon-Thurs & Sat.

I don't normally book stuff online.
realised after trying again, that there was one tick-box with a big red square over it for one option that day.
guessing this was the one €10 fare for the day.

    stoopid.

thanks for helping me suss this anyways.
