Accomadation in galway

Hi all, just wondering about the general availability and condition of accommodation in galway for a single post grad. Posting here as 2 places that were checked out were dives and one advertised as a apartment was a house you had to share with the owner!

I've found that the accommodation in Galway can be pretty hit an miss. I've seen some god awful places in my time! I'd recommend that you have a look on daft and see whats on offer. Places like Salthill and the Lower Newcastle/Shantallaght areas tend to have better quality accommodation in my experience.
