Web Config page only if you use a separate router, not on modem directly.

    3G Mobile
It's just Windows Dialup Networking with a fancy Add-on GUI with SMS. If you google Windows DUN settings. I honestly can't remember if or how the DNS can be changed. It uses a form of PPP (DHCP sort of built in), so it's possible everytime the connection drops (which can be often) and automatically redials that the DNS settings entered manually will be overwritten.

    OK I had a look..
make sure your Modem is installed but you are disconnected.

    1) Go Network Connections in Start -> Settings.
Open "Properties" of the Dial-up icon for 3 Mobile
    Click on Networking Tab
find "Internet Protocol" and click on text to highlight it
    Click "Properties" button

    On Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
    --- General--- tab

    make sure
(*) Obtain IP address automatically ...(selected)
(_) Use the following IP address ...(empty/greyed out)

    and
(_) O[/U]b[/U]tain DNS address automatically ...(empty)
(*) Use the following IP address ...(selected)

Enter the desired DNS servers in two boxes.

If they are doing something very strange then the DUN icon will be hidden and you'd have to edit registry :(

There used to be some way of doing it in the software that comes with the modem - the program that you run so that you can connect online. I can't find the instructions though - I remember someone in the 3 m-m-megathread explaining how to do it. It didn't make any difference to me anyway - connection was still crap/
