Purchasing generic online - Possible to test locally?

If I was to buy a small batch of generic medicine online (from a reputable site - going by hundreds of posts on different chat forums), is it possible to get it tested locally just to make sure it is exactly what it says on the tin? Would pharmacists be open to this? What would the cost be etc?

wouldnt it be much easier to just buy the correct stuff from a reputable pharmacist?

buying from online pharmacies is potentially pretty bogey, and it's not something we get involved with on here.Sorry.
