    HI guys ive been offered to go in on a lease with some friends for deer stalking so was on the hunt for a good .243 was in with a guy in wicklow and he has offered me a second hand steyr pro hunter .243 (in excellent condition very rarely used as far as i can make out) scope a swift 3-9x50 with mounts for 1000 euro what would you guys think of that?

    sounds good if it is as you decsribed,i have one in 308 excellent accurate rifle out of the box.

    Just make sure the forend doesn't flex too much. This was a common problem on early models
