Fair play to DeGale! In just his third fight he finished off Healy quicker than Paul Smith, Anthony Small, Matthew Hall, Andy Lee or Jamie Moore could!

Went sharply up in my estimation last night!

    Credit where credit is due!

(its lonely in this thread! :(:D)

Unfortunately(cause the guy is just so unlikeable) DeGale looked great last night. He seemed a genuine top prospect and looked much better than our own Olympic prospect Darren Sutherland has of late.

Yeah, Sutherland may prefer the pro game but if he wants to do well he needs to study it and start adapting.

DeGeale looks the best at the moment but we can only tell so much from the first few fights.

What next for Healy? He seems to keep his record one win - one loss so maybe notch up a few wins before fighting another name / prospect.

Its tue,I was supprised how good he looked was never impressed with him before that!

Fortunitly Korobov is the future at Middleweight anyway imo, cant wait till he gets more fights out and moves up to big names!!

Well if James Moore doesn't end up taking on Neil Sinclair for the Irish Light-Middleweight title on the Rogan undercard(as has been rumoured), then I suppose Healy could fill Moore's place.

Or if he got a few wins under his belt he could always take on the winner of that fight, although he'd be unlikely to cause either man too many problems. It would be a good scrap while it'd last though.

well as much as I didnt want to like DeGale he gave be plenty of time for the interview and although I wouldnt say that I liked him he was at least pleasant.

Healy was a gent and pretty candid - I have quite a bit of material about him saved should I need to do an article or incporate him into an article again.

DeGale seems genuinely hurt that he is not "liked" - unfortunately he's just not a likeable guy and no matter how humble he tries to "act" his "dick side" always seems to still give us little flashes.

Moving on from that - its about boxing after all - he seems to have taken the criticism from his first fight on board and changed his style. He's dropped the "computer points scoring amateur style" and gone for a more direct hurtful approach which seems to b working. His punch delivery and accuracy was there for everyone to see last night.

well Healy side the his focus after this fight was an Irish middleweight title - but I think he might go for the Northern Irish title - I hate that sh1tty little title.
