Does anyone have experience of either of these two bumper repair services:

    Smart Finish: http://www.smartfinish.ie/index.html

    dial a dent: http://www.dialadent.ie/bumpers.htm

and if so would you recommend / not?

I have scraped my bumber against a concrete column and it has left some gouges on the bumper where the white plastic is exposed (the bumber is body colour painted)

car in an 08 mondeo, and i know a main dealer will want to replace the bumper at significant cost.

I dont want to spend a fortune, but dont want a half-baked job either?

    views?

    thanks

I've used Auto Smart Systens a good few times and was happy enough.

I had a crack and scrap on my Peugeot 407 car bumper. I cant believe how well the work done- keeping the same bumper without replacing, and the paint job is kept to its absolute minimum- brilliant.

This mechanic works on his own garage, has no details on phonebook or website. The garage in Dundrum Business Park,Dublin 16, the manager is Lorcan Byrne.

I dont think I will be able to post his phone number.PM if you need his contact details.

    Avoid those main dealers.

What kind of price to repair a towbar dent and crack in a Modus bumper?

i used autosmart repairs in the end and found them to be excellent. Did a perfect job for less than €200, a main dealer would have charged €1200.

Isn't there someone on this forum who does this kinda stuff? Thought I noticed it before. *shrugs*

Op, Are you replacing the bumper or just looking for it to be painted?
