You'd want to get a wii.
It's Virtual Console downloadable system will let you buy/download some games for older systems to the wii. This includes both NES Zeldas, the SNES one and the 2 N64 ones.

there's also the wii zelda game "twilight princess" and the gamecube game "the wind waker" which can also both be played on a wii.

The Gamecube wouldn't be a bad choice either.
You can get Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twillight Princess and the Wind Waker for the Gamecube.
It might be a cheaper solution to the Wii.

Majora's Mask is extremely glitchy/slow or something though on the gamecube. And Twilight's probaly better pwith the wii controls (never actually played the gamecube one yet tbh though)
But yeah the gamecube wouldnt be a bad choice.

You can get a gameboy player for the gamecube as well. If you got that you could play the handheld Zelda's too. I think you can play every game but the ds one on gamecube actually.

I'd say if you want to play the most number of Zelda games possible the Wii has to be the best option, you can play every single console Zelda game on it. Including the new game to be announced next year. I haven't played them myself but apparently the Virtual Console emulations are superior to the versions on the Gamecube special edition.

A Gamecube would be a cheaper option but that Zelda Special edition might be a little hard to come by.

DS might not be a bad option either, Phantom Hourglass is excellent and Spirit Tracks is coming soon. Plus all the GBA zelda games are playable on it which includes a Link to the Past and Four Swords.

    Happy Gaming.

Yeah but you miss out on the excellent Gameboy zeldas. Links awaken is supposedly a contender for the best in the series and Oracle of Ages and Seasons always get ignored but are absolutely amazing games that should be played by any Zelda fan.

What Zelda games are on the virtual console?

Are the gameboy ones on it or are they going to be released on the download service for DSi*?

*Does DSi have a download service or did I imagine it? (I have DS lite)

Probably my favourite Zeldas! Then again, I didn't enjoy OOT that much and haven't played Majora's Mask...
