    I saw quite a few in Mexico and Central America in 1990. Personally I think they have a lot more character than the current watercooled bay they are producing at the moment. They had quite a lot in common with the later German Bays Ie large rectangular rear lights and the absence of the side step on the front bumper.

    Just came across this recent looking water cooled type 2 panel van. Looks like "splitty" type rear air vents.

    Sure their is a 06-D Brazilian T2 doing the rounds in Dublin, painted up in the 11811 (or one of those directory enquirey companies) livery.

    There is a "limited edition" version of them coming out to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

    I took that pic ages ago (about 2 years) Hadnt seen it in ages then it drove past me again 3 weeks ago

    The roof looks horrible, looks like a fixed version of the Westfalia.
