cracked ds fat hinge

    my fat nintendo ds's hinge cracked and came off the other day
    can i send it away to nintendo uk to get it fixed or can that
    only be done with a dsi? and will console repairs.ie be able to fix
    a ds like mine?

    Hi Hardizone,

    I can give you a price for replacing the case if you would like to send me a pm. I dont stock DS phat cases anymore but I do have a gold one that I was going to stick on mine but im in no rush what so ever.

    If you were looking for a diffrent colour I would have it in a couple of weeks.

    Alternatively:

    I'd be very suprised if Consolerepairs Ireland dont do it.

    Nintendo UK should do it also, but i'd imagine they would be dearer than CRI or myself.

    I had the same problem with mine.I phoned nintendo and they were charging me something like e80-e90 to repair it no way would i pay that!.I ended up buying a replacement shell off of e-bay for e20.You will find lots of vids on youtube giving you a step by step guide on how to change the shell i done my own and works perfect.
