Problems importing u.s goods

I had problems recently importing a stock from the u.s. The company would only ship to a u.s address. I had no relatives so I tracked down this freight forwarding service. Myusabox.com They give you a u.s address to get your goods shiped to and forward them on to you. It costs 5 euro per lot and then the price of postage. Think it cost me 53 USD to get it to here.

Hope this helps some of you

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works folks...
It is a New York City address.
Alot of gun companies ,ammo, scope and parts suppliers ,etc,WILL NOT ship to NYC or surrounding boroughs .NYC and boroughs are notoriously anti gun[Well with Hillary Clinton as a Senator,no surprises there:(]
So just check with the orginal sellor will they ship to NYC addresses.;)

I had it over here within a week. including the original shipping to NTC. You can track it all the way over too. Thought it would have taken an age.

    From their Website

"Effective Immediately as of September 25, 2008: We MUST charge a $250 export license fee for every approved U.S. State Department export permit. This is legally required by the U.S. State Department. "

Yes but not everything needs an export permit, scopes night vision etc probably needs one but other things might not.

can anyone please clarify if the gun licences are goin up in in august? ive been told that for shotgun E112 for 3yrs which is not a bad idea renewing it every 3yrs but does that mean paying e112 for each gun that you have?

Try about 80 euros per gun. That is the offical NARGC news on this.
ETSS last time I talked to them were still alive and well, keep at them to get a response..;)

And it is getting crappier to exportfrom the USA folks... Thanks to the UN ,ITARS and others.
Some companies wont ship orders under $100 as it is not worth their while, but cant ship orders over$100 without major paperwork, which isnt worth their while either!

Then ITARS have tightned up what cant be shipped without SD export permits[ans alot of this has to do with not supplying the bad guys in the two Sandboxes,Uncle Sam is messing about in]

Barrels, smooth and rifled frames, uppers, revolver cylinders, small parts in value over $100,high capacity magazines, rifle scopes currently issued to US armed forces,[and here is another kicker on this;Even scopes that were selected for armed forces trials and rejected as unsuitable are inclued in this embargo] And a ongoing list of other useful things, including,Empty Ammo Cans!!

;) MyUS.com are based in Florida. When you join they will give you a Florida address. They won't handle guns or gun parts ( that would be expecting a lot ! ) but I've imported a night vision scope through them. ( An import licence is needed for this from the Dept of Justice )
Beware that they open parcels and have an annoying habit of removing catalogues which they think are junk mail.
There is another agency in California but there's not much difference in their charges.

    cheers.
