    Hello all...

I am looking to get my irons re-gripped but I dont fancy doing the job myself incase I make a mess of it.

Can anyone reccommend anywhere in the Dublin area where I can bring my clubs and new grips to get them done?

    Cheers,

    Jiminie

i know you say you not into doing it yourself but its very very easy to do. ive regripped my clubs for yrs - i get a batch of lamkin crossline midsize off ebay, some double sided tape, white spirits and a stanley knife in your hardware shop. slice off the old grips, pare off the old tape, put some new tape on...white spirits on that & the inside of the grip....and slide on.

Like Mag says, there isnt a lot to it. If you have a shed at home with a vice and a rubber clamp to protect the shafts (source the clamp off ebay), you could have your own grips done in 1/2 hour.

If u are doing graphite, grip the shaft about mid way down the shaft as it is much stronger in that area and less likely to break when you close the vice.
