    Hi,

I'm curious about the recording feature of sky+. Is it the case that if you record a program and you later get rid of sky, you can no longer watch what youve recorded?
If this is the case, can you not just connect a dvd recorder to the box's output?

What sort of a DVD recorder would I need to get the SKY+ box content? What sort of connectors etc would I need?

Do you basically play the entire thing onto the DVD, the same way as we used to dub tapes back in the day??

    Thanks.

The most basic DVD Recorder should do the job. All you need is a scart cable going from the back of the DVD Recorder to the back of the Sky box.
You have to watch the whole progrmme while the DVD Recorder is recording.

So I press record on my DVD and press play on my SKY+ and off I pop? Sounds simple- its no wonder the games are appearing on the net in full only hours after the fact. Thanks for your time.
