News from the doping front - thankfully doesn't involve the Tour.

Two Spanish riders, Inigo Landaluze and Ricardo Serrano, have tested positive for CERA.

It seems Landaluze tripped the Dope-o-Meter™ twice, first on June 7 at the Dauphiné and again during a June 16 out-of-competition test.

Serrano tested positive at the Tour de Suisse on June 13. The UCI says that Serrano's biological passport numbers were suspicious enough to target him for extra testing.

You might recall that Landaluze successfully challenged his positive for testosterone a few years back.

Yes, Landaluze got out of jail a few years ago alright. Serrano had already been popped under the Biological passport.

Both of them were done for using CERA too, at least according to AP. That's interesting. Either they are very stupid or believe that the testing isn't catching most users.

especially stupid since CERA has a marker to aid detection
