Browser trouble

Ok so I was recently on holiday and got back for the last day that Eircom was having the DNS server issues. Since its been fixed my IE wont find any pages at all. Ok so I was recently on holiday and got back for the last day that Eircom was having the DNS server issues. Since its been fixed my IE wont find any pages at all. The connection is perfect I can open and use MSN messenger fine but when I try the browser, it says Website found waiting for reply then takes ages to give the error message that it cant be shown or whatever.

I dont use any other browsers, something blocked me from downloading Chrome and Firefox stopped working a few months back so I ploughed on with IE rather than try and fix it.

Any ideas?
