Just heard on a radio bulletin................

around 20 stolen mountain bikes were found in Pearse street this morning. If anyone has had anything stolen in the city centre they should contact harcourt street Garda station for details.

Fair play to the Guards on this one - I'd like to see it happen more often!

Any idea where they were found?

It said "an address in Pearse street". Didn't go into detail as to whether it was a shop / lock up / home.

It says they are "available for viewing"....does that not mean anybody could just walk in and say "Thats mine"?

I'm sure(hope) they'd ask for a picture of you with the bike or to provide a detailed description before showing you anything.

That's the one. I saw a few bikes for sale there a couple of weeks ago. Although it was the first time in a while they were there. You're probably right - the gardai must be on to them.
