    Excellent article on modding (software) your seagate 1.5TB hard drive into a 300GB WD Velociraptor.
    The resized Seagate dominates the raptor in all areas after being modded.

    Why would you do this?
    A WD Raptor is about €219. The Seagate is about €119 so you're saving yourself a nice bit of cash :).
