Rollonfriday (UK) pro bono work scheme

    Anybody know how this is working out in UK ? ( unemployed solrs doing voluntary work for various organisations, Law Soc giving free P.C.s, larger firms guaranteeing an interview to those doing a certain amount of pro bono hours ) Might be worth a try here. PI insurance would be the biggest problem

    I posted a link to this on one of these threads last week, its a great idea but, as far as i'm agree the scheme only started officially last week?!

    Such a great idea.

    Unfortunately the law society of ireland has no imagination and is probably going to be facing such money trouble that they won't bother doing something similar.

    I wrote to the DSBA advocating such a scheme, but the DSBA isn't much better than the Law Society (kissing cousins).
