Any one know how much notice coilte or their associated agents require for you to hunt one of their woods,i.e if i take a coilte lett ,how much notice do i have to give before stalking outings.
I thought the only stalking requireing notice or permission was an evening stalk,i,ve since been informed diffrently.
    So whats the story ?

you have to give 48hrs notice to the forester, evening shooting is at the discretion of the forester, depending on how much the wood is used by the public will have an effect on whether you are given evening shooting on the wood in question.

its not coillte policy to let recreational after 11am ,it would not be down to the forester in question.

48hours notice is required i text my guy it works well as he has a record of it as do i

" On application, written permission may be granted by the licensor to the licensee to allow evening shooting for the period of two hours before dusk.
Such permission shall only be in respect to specifically approved sites
and shall be restricted to shooting from high seats or similar elevated shooting positions only"
