Stockings??

Planning on a surprise romantic evening... should i risk stockings and suspenders or stay safe with some nice plain underwear?

I have never done the stockings thing before and do not want it to be tacky...opinions???

Is this really an issue.....? Since you asked... I'd usually wear stockings as opposed to tights. I wouldn't consider it tacky and have never had any complaints from menfolk. Mind you they're odd things to get used to, it took me a good 20 minutes to get them on the first time I tried, then about 2 seconds to get them off, but I suppose that would be the point

Stockings gets me every time, with suspenders or without.

In my experience, they are very popular with men. You could just wear hold-ups if you want to avoid being tacky, not that stockings are. Suspenders are a pain in the ass to get the hang of, so get used to them beforehand. I'd say go for it, it'll no doubt go down a storm!

Top tip: If your guy really likes stockings, he'd probably like you to wear them throughout sex. So put your underwear on over the suspenders, as it were, so you can take them off easily without disturbing the suspenders.

Agreed. Tights have to come off whereas stockings/hold ups are optional - if you get my drift...........

Especially if you are going to wear them out for the night - it'll be much easier when you visit the loo!

Stockings, once you get used to them they're actually comfy, and u definitely feel sexy in them! Also, its hot and sticky out so stockings are just more sensible than tights!
Suspenders are harder to get used to and if they don't fit right can be unflattering!

Also OP, get your stockings in Dunnes. I found they last well. Acutally all their tights/stockings do. I bought a pair in Ann Summers and they ripped the first time I put them on! :mad:

OMG Faith, if only my girlfriend thought the same way !
I'd say it to her but I cant take them off and talk at the same time, cant multitask when I'm distracted !!!!

Yes underwear over suspendor belt is the proper way to wear them and if your concern about snags or then twisting esp if they are seamed stockings then apply some hairspray lightly to them when you have them on. Also when you take them out of the package strech them the same way you would tights before attempting to put them on it means there is more give and they are less likely to snag or tear.

Good tips there! I can never get the seams straight so I don't bother with them!
