    http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/jakehumphrey/2009/07/an_earpiece_of_the_action.html

You'll need a proxy or some other way of viewing the embedded video but it's well worth it, gives you a presenter's ear view of how the show works. He is apparently able to pick out background info from this torrent of voices before the director tells him what's gone wrong!

I think he's really put any "children's TV" doubters to bed at this stage, his stewarding of the day's action has been smooth as butter, and he's a great interviewer who manages to get people relaxed. Blog has been very good too.

Yeah, I don't really understand some people's criticism of him. I think he's quite good.

Except for that time when he stepped out in front of a Toyota exiting the pit. :pac:

Edit- He mentioned it in the blog
and the crew around to save me from any onrushing Toyota's

must search after that proxy link stuff...

I have liked Jake's style of presenting. Very natural, easy to watch, brings the facts forward interestingly without the bulls**t others do.

Pity I change over to Setanta ireland so not to listen to Legard's commentary.

I agree with everyone above. He's come from a different broadcasting background, clearly admits he's not the expert in F1 some others claim to be, but genuinely seems interested in learning as he goes along and seems to be succeeding in that regard. Unlike Leggard, who supposedly is an 'expert', in what I don't know though, unless it's being able to spot the green stripe on the tyres! I swear, if he mentions that again, I'm going to have to buy a new TV :)
