advanced entry when should i hear back?

    made an application for advanced entry to year 3 business and was told to post in my transcript from my last college. person said she would have to wait for sum1 from department to look at it and that they are on holidays
    so not always available. That nearly 3 weeks ago. Should I have heard something back by now? do they even bother to tell you if your not excepted. Dont know where I will go in September yet but wanted to keep options open for waterford. Anyone else try for advanced entry in that or other course and hear back?

    I applied for advanced entry too, for a different course though. I rang them weeks ago and they said I should get a decision from Mid July on-wards. Still to date no reply from them. I tried emailing them too, but no reply yet either.

    Heard from a friend working there the amount of applicants for course's there has being four times as many as last year!!

    On a side note does anyone know how much fee's will be in September?? Roughly based on last year i know there is not a exact price out yet, but a ball park figure will do. Thanks

    As in registration fees or tuition fees? Reg fee is €1500. When I last spoke to my course leader a few weeks a go, he didn't have the tuition fees off hand.

    Sorry for my ignorance now but whats the difference? Im hoping to go in september but depends on finances etc etc. What would tutition fee's be and how much? ideally im trying to get a idea of total cost i could expect. Thanks again

    I put through my advanced entry application on the website a few weeks ago but got no e-mail back from them. I tried it a second time again the other day with the same result. I had to go in to speak to the head registar who sorted it out. She said my application didn't go through at all! The letter came the next day so I filled it out and sent it back and I can register now.

    They introduced a new online application process http://www.wit.ie/StudyatWIT/UndergraduateCourses/DirectApplications/ this year as such there is going to be delays common when they introduce new online systems. I would suggest contacting the course leader of the course you want to enter, send the collage a copy of your transcripts, if you got one of those European Diploma Supplement.
