Buy iphone in the US?

    Hi,

    I'm off to the states next week and i'm considering buying the new iphone. Can anyone advise whether i should or should not please?

    Is it possible to buy a non-contract i-phone?

    I know you can jailbreak and unblock the phone but would a pre-pay meteor sim work ok in it after?

    If all that is ok, would it then work out very expensive to run? I have heard it can cost a fortune to use the web on them.

    Sorry for all the questions but if anyone can help that would be great!
