can anyone suggest a good wireless av sender, that has good range (through 5 solid block walls, 20ft), wont interfer with DECT phones, WiFi network or cause any break up on sat channels? I'm guessing the 5ghz ones wouldnt suffer from these issues?

5Ghz will be worse affected by solid objects than 2.4GHz.

All such transmitters have output power limited by law to just a few milliWatts. There's little to choose between them.

You can "boost" the power in one direction by making a foil reflector but it's going to take a miracle to get the signal through a solid wall, let alone FIVE!
