Not really a DIY job OP for access reasons for a start. Is it loose as in the gearstick itself is loose or is it that the linkages to the gearbox feel loose?

    Thanks Darragh29 for quick reply
I'ts the gearstick it self that is loose
I know that is my fault because it was not loose when I bought the car 3 weeks ago.
thanks again and waiting for your comments:)

Well you see the gearstick can be loose because the two selector rods that the other end of the gearstick is attached to, are worn but this would have happened anyway OP, it has nothing really to do with how you drive the car...

The gearstick itself is attached to the car within a gearstick mounting unit and the linkages within that could be worn as well. It's hard to tell without seeing the car to be honest...

    Thanks for that Darragh29
I intend to bring the car to the mechanic (just in case)

    I appreciate all help:)

    Thanks again
