    Hey

    anyone know of any good places in Dublin or even outside Dublin that pay bands/acoustic acts, either through covers or originals or both??

    Doesnt really happen unless you bring a crowd.

    Itll cost you money before you make money. Sorry to tell you, but tis a simple fact! Awful state of affairs music has come to in this country.

    its not as bad as that ... well certainly not outside dublin anyway.

    Made a rough demo CD, define where exactly you are willing to go (theres plenty of places to gig in carlow. laois. kilkenny. kildare) and either, see what you can find in the phone book, or more preferably, scout around a few of the towns, suss out the music pubs, drop in a cd and get the proper contact info.

    yeah it's really bad at the minute..
    suppose il just have a look around and see what i can get...i dont mind gigging or free before making a bit of moola from it...

    any places you know come to mind..ive got the cds together and dropped them into a few places but id love to gig anywhere even outside dublin
