Installing apps from 2 different computers

Anyone know if there is a way of doing this? I find it ridiculous that iTunes restricts you to syncing your apps from the same library. Sometimes I'm using the desktop and sometimes I'm using my laptop, I'd like to be able to install apps from both.

How do you do it? If I try to install an app now from my laptop iTunes is telling me that it will remove the apps that I've installed from my desktop

what iv done is copied the app files from itunes music folder and put them on both machines, im not even sure i need to do that cause i think it transfers over the app on your ipod to the computer/laptop anyway.

Firstly, Authorize your laptop by going to > Store > Authorize computer and enter your iTunes account information, that way your purchases will be synced over your two machines. If you have two different libraries of music and applications that you don't want synced, select 'Manually manage music and videos' under the Summary tab of your device. Now, under the applications tab you can select Sync Selected Applications, so you're just installing the apps that you want.
