    Hey guys,

I am not usually going much in this section exept to read the international results of our swimmers.

I am one of the coach around for over 10 years, and want to say that some really good swims happened at this championship. I am not taking about my swimmers but in general.

I would be delighted to see next year more support from the general public to those events.

Swimming is poorly rewarded, and our athletes do train in early mornings from 5-7 some 5 days a week, and the oldest would swim 35k a week the youngest at 12 would maybe swim 6/8 hours a week depending on clubs and coaches off course.

I just want to say congratulation to all the swimmers from all clubs in the country who provided great performance and make their coaches proud at D2 and D1.

What is important is not always to have the gold but to give the best you can on the day, and we do forgot this from time to time as coaches.

I don't believe that any athletes even if they don't perform, stand on the block of a D1 championship and don't try their best.

    Well done again.

    Seb Locteau

Our club had a lot of good swims at the division 1 and 2 championships. Congratulations to all who competed.

And good luck to the swimmers in the Youth championships next week. Wish I could have entered.:( The Leaving Cert kind of messed up my training
