Summer or Winter?

    Which do you prefer?

In the summer you can do more 'out-door' stuff, whether it's going for a stroll in the park/on the beach, cutting the grass, having lunch out the back etc etc. The traffic is lighter on the way in to work with the schools being off. The evenings stay bright for longer.

In the winter the weather is colder, but you can wrap up against it. It gets dark much earlier, so you can snuggle up on the sofa with the heating on, stuffing your face with tea & biscuits watching the telly!

Or you have a good excuse to go to the pub - cos it's too cold to do anything else!

    Winter: Christmas!!! - Snow (sometimes)

The idea of going on a 'sun' holiday doesn't appeal to me at all. I burn within about 2 mins of being in the Irish sun so that's probably a major deciding factor. I've been on holidays a couple of times in the last few years, mostly in winter, and I have to say I love it. If you're too cold, put more clothes on! There's only so much you can strip off in the summer if you're too hot.

There are obviously more pro's and con's to both but I can't be bothered thinking of them at the minute!

you can do out door stuff in the winter providing your not a pussy and dont mind your balls engaging in rentry activitys while in sub freazing river's, and seas...

Il go with spring and winter ... better wind good surf and winter because there s snow...

I would say I like both equally except that it does rain more in the winter, restricting what you can do. It's also impossible to do some practical things outside in winter such as cleaning windows or cars. In the summer, even rain isn't all that bad because it's not cold.

I do however, really like crisp cold mornings/evenings in the winter.

    There's always one!

I gave you a choice of 2, and you picked something different. That's like me offering you a cup of tea or coffee, and you saying: "orange juice"

I love sunny weather, not too hot and being able to do whatever you want in it.
Outdoor music gigs, festivals, walks on the beach, (not swimming - much too cold here!!)etc

But I love winter more - I love getting wrapped up in layers, scarves and hats and going for walks on crisp winter days and curling up by the fire and there's always that possibility of snow!!

Dislike Summer, But actually love autumn in a possiblely unhealthy way! All that stationary in stores *becomes Doe-eyed* not to mention gloves, scarves, hats and snuggly coats and boots. :D:D:D:D:D:D

*cough* sorry back to topic. Summer sucks compared to winter:cool:

Winter all the way. Mainly because i moved to Norway and it snows all winter. So i get to do tons of my favourite outdoor activity, Snowboarding!

Dublin had a very nice winter this year. Back in Cork they got crap all snow. I'm unable to choose which I prefer though.

Winter. Christmas, no wasps or other annoying insects and I prefer the cold weather.

It hardly ever rains these days during the Winter, in the summer however it's tends to piss down more often then the scorcher days.

    Winter for me.

The seasons here are barely definable  Our summers consist of the odd sunny day, rain, and clammy greyish days. The latter being the one I hate the most because the heat makes me sleepy :(

I go for summer if only because it's get's us outside more and you just feel good ,as long as it's not to hot .We spend long enough cooped up inside during winter

Autumn is the best of all!the comfy clothes come in to stock, you have halloween and my birthday and the promise of winter and christmas just around the corner.

Not to mention the lovely crunchy leaves on the ground and I can wear a variety of hats and scarves...feel nekkid without a scarf and it's way too balmy to wear them in this weather, not a lover of the sun at all!

The sun really pushes my cider sometimes

    Winter
I like both. Love the nice sunny days of the summer where I can wear my shorts and t shirt, going to the beach etc...

Love bitterly cold days in winter where you can see your breath. Love going out on cool clear nights into a nice dark pub where the light is minimal, and the glow from the fire is rich. Walking home with the sky completely clear looking up at the stars... magical.

Summer! Snow is nice the first time, but after months of it - no thanks! I never get tired of hot summer days on the lake though!

Definitely winter. Love crisp cold days when you have to wrap up in a scarf and a hat. Also like when it gets dark early for some reason.

    Winter
    Summer, without a doubt.

I hate winter. Short evenings, cold, wind, rain, constantly getting wet, having to bring an umbrealla everywhere. F*uck you winter. The only thing I like about it is snow - which we rarely get.
