Possibly this. Right off the where the A3 meets the M25.

    http://www.runnymedehotel.com/

BTW, I stayed in a TOP Secret hotel in Dublin last week for the first time ever. As a compulsive organiser I decided to take a leap of faith. I paid €81 for a 4* within walking distance of St Stephens green etc and it turned out to be the Hilton which had posted rates on their website for €160 so all in all not bad. Shame about the hotel itself mind you.

BTW Lastminute.ie Wexford is also walking distance to Dublin so 15 minutes to St Stephens Green is not all that great to be fair.

I hope you get a good hotel.

    thanks for that berty......

dunno if it is that one though cos said only ten miles from heathrow!!!

i was looking at the hilton in ccobham surrey last night .....had a great special offer two nights for one.... then went ot book this morning and special offer was gone and im not paying 220 pounds for 2nights b&b there!!!
so by the sounds of it this top secret hotel is close enough to the hilton - our friends booked the hilton last night so we want to stay close !!

we were trying to be organised too..... i would be of the compulsive organiser class myself .....but it has backfired in every way possible !!!
booked flights and had to ammend the return date ( nice extra charge from ryanair ) then looked into car rental for 6 days ---- OMG the price of it for us under 25 year olds!! so if we hadnt of booked the flights , or even cancelled them before we ammended the dates it would have been cheaper to just get the ferry and bring my own car !!!!
    live and learn tho !!

The runnymede hotel is where the A30 meets the M25, not the A3. The area sounds like cobham/esher area but it is quite a vague description.

Shame it doesn't give the nearest station, that's usually the clincher.

Lastminute.com do "Secret hotels", where they tell you the rate and approx location, but not the hotel itself. this means the hotel can offer below market rate rooms without affecting their usual day rate.

excellent if you want a hotel in London because it gives you the nearest tube station so you can pin point the hotel pretty well, but a bit more vague when you start getting out into the surrey countryside.

Just after booking one myself for London . Paid €220 for 2 nights for myself, herself and one child. Turns out to be the Cumberland hotel which is a lot more expensive. Will be doing this a lot more in future

    Nice Catch.

Watch out though Primark/Pennys is only around 300mtrs away.
