Remote locking problem

    Recently my open button has stopped working(works the very odd time).
    Yet my lock works perfectly. Is it broke or are there two separate batterys .
    By the way it's an avensis

    As far as I know there is a battery in the key/fob, so get that checked first.

    chances are that the open button itself is damaged and not working then
