anyone know a trick to prevent dishwasher rusting cutlery?

    knives especially always have orange rust marks after the dishwasher has completed its cycle. Any suggestions on preventing this?

    Dont think thats rust, just dried in food that hasnt come off.

    Maybe give your stuff a little bit of a rinse before popping it in the dishwasher - or put it on a longer washing cycle if available.

    simple answer to this OP is to buy better cutlery. it's usually down to cutlery either not being dishwasher friendly or being cheap qaulity stainless steel

    Maybe your salt content is too high in your washer
