Was watching the movie "Michael Collins" the other night and noticed for the first time that the Dail Treaty Debate scene was filmed in the Reading Room. Just a little bit of trivia for other interested postgrads, slaving away this summer . . . .

Googled today, and saw this exchange from Overheard in Dublin:

    Murder in Trinity

Walking through Trinity with a friend I pointed to the 1937 Reading Room and said "'Michael Collins' was shot in there".

My friend in reply: "I thought he was shot in Cork"
