Missing Discovery channels on Sky?

    Hello,

I've noticed over the last few days that the Discovery channels 520-525 are not working most of the time, showing "Satellite signal not received". This is on both my ordinary Sky (Error 36) and Sky Plus (Error 25).I wonder if anyone else has this problem, or is there something wrong with my system?

    Thanks.

Working fine for me - i'd suggest a possible dish allignment issue?

I've also got that issue over the last few days...strange. It could be my box or maybe a dish issue, we will see.

Some of the Discovery channels changed transponder this week.
re-boot your box and the problem should go away.

    Hi Denis 1501

Thanks for the suggestion about rebooting. I switched off both boxes and powered up again. No Joy :(

Just had a thought: Last week I replaced the previous Sky viewing cards with the new ones. Could this possibly be the cause of the problem?

Would dish mis-alignment cause just a few channels to disappear?

    Thanks.

I actually gave you the wrong info anyway bud, they haven't actually switched transponder yet but I believe they are on the verge of doing so. They are testing a transponder on Eurobird.
Hope you get to the bottom of this problem.
    regards
    D.

No problem. I just checked now and the discovery channels on both sky boxes are back working again! Will report back on any developments.
