British Open - 8 places

I thought PP's offer on the Open was good, they're paying 7 places, that was until I got an email from Boylesports telling me they're paying 8 places, nice one lads - I'll have some of that. I'm looking at Justin Rose at 100/1 and Graeme McDowell at 60/1.

There's already 2 Open threads er open if you look. I'm pretty sure both already mention the 8 places thing too.

EDIT: it seems you did look, and you posted the same thing in one of them, why make a new thread?

It means if you back E/W, you would get 1/4 of the odds if he finishes in the top 8.

Jeese Louise some of us are new at this sort of thing. Don't crucify the guy for making a mistake, he was just spreading the good news about Boylesports generousity (stupidity) at offering 8 places. I have a Paddy Power a/c and a Boylesports a/c but I'm going to let them fight for my custom. Just placed 10 e/w on Greg Norman at 300/1 under Spoilsports 8 places offer, now what you gonna do to get me back PP. It's like Kramer v Kramer

Ha didn't know it was his first post. I'd just prefer the one thread as I like golf betting so I like to read up on the others.

8 places is only until midnight (right?), so get going! I'm still backing Mahan, Westwood, Villegas and O'Hair.

And I thought I was the only cynical prick thinking that Although if Paddy comes on offering ten places I won't mind. In the interest of covering the three main companies, Ladbrokes are also seven places until 9.30 and are going 33/1 bar the Maestro.

Yep, Ladbrokes 7 places are shops only though so a move off my couch was required!!
