Backing up Text Messages

Hey All
Any idea how I can back up my text messages for safe storage?

I've got an old nokia and don't have anmy cables or software to go with it. I was wondering could you use O2.ie but that seems to only do your contacts (assuming you have a SIM that allows for SIM backup)

I'm assuming if its an old nokia then the messages are stored on the SIM.

It'd have to be a very old phone, 3310 kind of old. Sims can only hold about 25 messages

What is the model of the phone? If you don't know, take out the battery and on the labels underneath you should see something like

Model:3310
