Problem installing apps

i have been download apps on my iphone from installous for a while now but im gettin sick of waiting for things to download so i recently downloaded them from their site on my pc and then i go to install them on the phone from itunes and i get a error message every time.
i have the latest iphone os and itunes is up to date
any help please

okay the error message says
the application was not installed on the iphone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8008001)

This sounds like an Appsync problem, make sure you've updated it through Cydia since you upgraded to OS 3.0?

I was getting that exact error only yesterday.

As spoongibbon suggests, and assuming you're running a jailbroken iPhone on 3.0, install "AppSynch for OS 3.0" via Cydia.

I did this and the app installed straight away.

So you're having trouble installing apps you're not paying for and you want us to help you with this? Why don't you just buy the app through iTunes, then it would sync just fine.
